How then, if we ourselves appreciate a mention of thanks when we give a gift, do we not take the time to express heartfelt gratitude to the Power that causes all true gifts to be received? An attitude of gratitude must be cultivated if we wish to maintain an open line to the Law of Attraction for receiving greater and more numerous gifts.

Do you go through your day barely noticing the wonderful little miracles that come your way, or chalking the ones you do notice up to coincidences? Please realize, there are no accidents! To a Power that is infinite, such as the Law of Attraction, measuring miracles is futile. Begin to notice, and especially appreciate, each and every lovely event that enriches your life. A series of green lights, a great parking space, running into a long lost friend, all these and countless others occur regularly to those who are in tune with the positive, and thankful for it.

Allow me to paraphrase a beautiful quote from Thomas Secker, Archbishop of Canterbury from 1758-1768: `He who is thankful for the common things will enjoy many great things. A grateful mind is a great mind.‘ How true. Don’t brush past the sweet, albeit small, successes in your daily life. Adopt an attitude of gratitude, and discover the boundless good that waits to carry you onto greater delights day by day.

`When gratitude overflows the swelling heart, and breathes in free and uncorrupted praise for benefits received, propitious heaven takes such acknowledgment as fragrant incense, and doubles all its blessings.‘

This quote, from George Lillo, moralist playwright from the early 1700s, really sums it up. Be grateful for the small, and begin to receive it all!

These individuals are not less intelligent, nor are they less trusting, necessarily, they just, for some reason all their own, require more information before they can conceive of a power so vast as to influence the entire universe, and yet so available as to enrich their daily lives.

Perhaps you, too, prior to implementing the tools, both spiritual and practical, that are necessary to unleash the power of the Law of Attraction, are asking for proof that it does in fact, work. Well, I understand. My Grandmother was from Missouri, and as you may know that is the `Show Me State’! No one was going to come along whistling Dixie and sell any snake oil to my family, not with my Grandmother on watch, that is! My Grandmother never completed 6th grade, however she was a success at anything she tried. She raised three generations of children, owned several businesses, and was loved and respected by all who knew her. A wonderful cook, baker, seamstress and housekeeper, she found joy in small things, and taught us to appreciate everything that comes our way. Good things, of course, but hard things, also, since they build your spirit and prepare you for better things to come. With this solid foundation from my youth,

I was not about to follow a `Johnny come lately’ spiritual awaking. There is nothing new about the principles that are extolled in The Secret. The Law of Attraction is as old as time itself, and then some. Anyone you can name from recorded history to present day who is successful, is plugged into this power, in some way, at some level. I suggest you learn more for yourself, then decide if you will be among the most successful people of your era.

The book to begin with in your own search is the 1910 classic `The Science to Getting Rich‘, by Wallace D. Wattles. As you read for yourself the truth of the Law of Attraction will come alive in your heart, as your mind explores the endless possibilities. Live your dream, whatever it is. Maybe financial wealth isn’t your primary goal, however I doubt that any worthwhile pursuit you may have wouldn’t be more attainable with a bank roll behind it! So come on, do your own research, and then make this proven method your own.

Create the future you desire, you are only limited by your own doubts.

Stop swimming upstream! Everything you are trying to accomplish in your life, from finding your car keys to becoming the next `American Idol’ is as close as your next breath. Imagine owning one of those beautiful stainless steel and glass refrigerators. There are special drawers and temperature settings for every type of food and drink. It has every feature you ever dreamed a fridge could possess. You go to the store and buy all your favorite items, the freshest produce, chesses, eggs, and meat. You can’t wait to experience how terrific this new fridge is going to serve your family in preserving your food. You fill the fridge, and go out for the day. When you come home that night, prepared to serve your family a great meal from the items in your terrific new fridge, you are dismayed to find everything in the fridge is spoiled, and is of no value.

Now imagine you continue to do this every day, for years on end, never wondering what is wrong, and wasting all the resources you put into the fridge every day. If only someone had told you to plug this amazing new fridge in!!!! Well, silly as that sounds, that is exactly what you are doing each day you try to succeed in life without being `plugged in’. All your efforts, resources and labor has no effect on what you are trying to achieve. You feel as though your job is going nowhere, your health is fair at best, and your family and friends don’t appreciate all you go through each day, just to survive.

Isn’t it time to stop surviving, and begin thriving? When will you take the power of the universe and claim it as your own? Will today just be another day of barely getting by, or will today be the start of a lifelong adventure of soaring with the eagles? Do you want to run and not grow weary? Do you want to walk and not feel faint? Mount up to fly with wings of eagles. The eagle does not thrash about, attempting to fly, he majestically soars. There are no struggles for those who do what they were meant to do. You were born for greatness, for a time such as this we must stop trying to operate without the power to do so. Plug in to the Law of Attraction, and never again feel as though no matter what you put into your efforts, nothing good comes out.

If not today, than when? Why not now!!!

I really appreciate acronyms, they seem to become easily ensconced into my memory, providing easy to draw on nuggets of information.

Spiritual strengths are without a doubt your most valuable asset. You may rule the world, and all it’s wealth, however if you lack a fortified spiritual foundation, what have you? How do you exercise your spiritual strength? Be it meditation, prayer, studying ancient wisdom, sitting at the feet of today’s inspirational masters, or perhaps a combination of any of these, it is of vital importance that you do not neglect this area of your life.

For the Law of Attraction to be activated on your behalf, you must provide it a spiritually clean slate to receive the positive flow that waits to surround you. If there is an aura of disharmony about your spirit, you will never achieve the fullness of joy that would have been yours for the asking.

To truly appreciate and anticipate that which is to be, we must constantly maintain a heart established in hopefulness. Hopefulness is not `wishful thinking’. Rather it is a reasonable expectation of that which will occur. Have you reason to believe your aspirations will be manifested into reality? If you are following the Law of Attraction you most certainly do. Evidence abounds regarding the limitless power that is yours to command. Exude hopefulness, and allow your hopes to be fulfilled through the Law of Attraction.

Your personally defined aspirations should be yours alone. No one, at this exact moment, stands before the bountiful table of the Law of Attraction, with precisely your plateful of dreams and desires to fulfill. The more finely honed your aspirations become, the more this will be true. Allow your heart to guide your aspirations. You are uniquely created for greatness, but that personal definition of greatness must come from the well spring of your own spirit. Don’t borrow anyone else’s aspirations, you will be short changing your future. Focus solely on your private and individual ambitions, allowing the Law of Attraction to materialize them for you.

The pursuit of power is perhaps the easiest of things that we must focus on to achieve enlightened success. The Law of Attraction does not actually require our pursuit of it. It does, however, demand our respect, our attention, and certainly our positively channeled energy to reflect back to us. As you consider the infinite power at your disposal, surely you are desirous of it being useful to you in a highly personal manner.

Consider your expectations for what the Law of Attraction can bring into your life. Again, it is your own energy, either positive or negative, that fuels the Law of Attraction, so that which you are projecting, is that which you will receive, and then some! Based on this reality, shouldn’t all of our expectations be centered on the positive? Concentrate your energy always towards the positive, and demand of your self that your expectations be absolutely enriching to you. This affirming attitude will be the difference in all you do today, and all you will do tomorrow.

Are you an extreme person? One who is always up for trying a new sport, or challenging your body to move faster and with more force? Does taking things apart to discover how they work interest you? How about travel, business dealings, creating art, studying the stars, or doggedly working to affect civil change?

If you had all the resources imaginable at your disposal, what would you do? That magnificent obsession, that indescribable longing, that is what you were created to do. You must focus your positive energy on the object that mesmerizes you, that you dream about, that fuels your passion. The Law of Attraction will take you any place you have the heart and mindset to go, and once there, to succeed beyond your most opulent vision.

Perhaps financial success wasn’t at the top of your list, however have you considered that anything your heart leads you to do, will be more easily accomplished with unlimited funding in your corner? For the gardener, hire someone to do the backbreaking work, and let your creative side plan the flora and bountiful harvest. The artist will need a suitable studio, supplies, perhaps lessons, and let’s not forget traveling to exotic places for inspiration! The business minded person certainly understands the difference a bank roll would make to his ventures, and imagine no concern over ever `taking a loss’ again.

There is no dream too big, no passion out of reach, no conceivable desire that exists in the hearts of man, that the Law of Attraction can’t provide the means to. All this immeasurable power requires of you is conceive, believe, and receive! Take charge of your future, and remember, it begins this moment! Do not delay, and watch others prosper as you only dream about what could be.

Today is the day to allow your dreams to become your reality. Truly, the Law of Attraction is as real as the successful people who use it daily to catapult their plans off of the drawing board and onto a glorious completion.

`You gotta go where you wanna go, Do what you wanna do, with whoever you wanna do it with’, this anthem of an era, written and performed by The Mamas and the Papas, is a simplistic explanation for the Law of Attraction’s promise to you: The sky truly is the limit! (And beyond!)

King Solomon, purportedly the wisest man to ever live, asked that same question thousands of years ago. Pondering all that he had seen and done, and all the wisdom that he had asked for and had received from God, Solomon determined, “No, there is nothing new under the sun“. Whatever was always will be, and that which will be, always has been. As long as time has existed, the universe has held certain truths, principles, and properties, and it is futile to `run against the wind’ if you will.

Centuries before King Solomon recorded his wisdom for the ages, Moses asked, “But what can I do?”, when faced with the injustices being suffered among his people. God’s answer was timeless, “Go, and tell them I sent you“. Well, Moses still needed some convincing, but finally he did go back to Egypt, and through the Power of the Universe, he influenced the Pharaoh to let his people go.

These short vignettes are but two from a list that would reach across the galaxy if all were known and recorded that displayed a Power so great, so infinite, and so excellent, that there are truly no words sufficient to describe it with accuracy. Humbly I write, knowing the Creator of the Universe forgives my inadequacy, and celebrates my forward motion of reaching for a honest portrayal of the power waiting to be discovered by anyone who will say, `I am willing, cause me to do great things“.

Let’s press on together, towards the prize of a life filled with joy and satisfaction. The Law of Attraction is not a `Blab it and grab it’ mentality, nor is it as simple as `What comes around goes around’.

The Law of Attraction will take you places you only dreamed possible, and some that even your most vibrant dreams left unseen.

Stone constantly emphasized that the fabulous fortune he amassed was due to his own positive attitude. He also displayed an astonishing `share the wealth’ philosophy. Stone not only wrote and lectured about the secret to his success, he also gave, in his lifetime, over $275 million to Christian and mental health organizations. Stone obviously saw no conflict over the joy of increasing wealth combined with a heart after God!

Just as Stone embodied the spirit of the power of positive thinking, he was also a man who believed in adding feet to his beliefs. Stone is quoted as saying, `There is something more important than believing: Action! The world is full of dreamers, there aren’t enough who will move ahead to take concrete steps towards actualizing their vision.’

What steps are you taking to enable the Law of Attraction to extraordinarily enhance your future? Perhaps you dream of a world cruise. Have you gathered information? Is your vision poster embellished with photos of the ships you will travel on? Are you studying any foreign languages for extended stays in exotic ports of call? Have you discovered if you have any friends or family to visit en route? Who will be joining you? Do you have a world map highlighted with your course? Have you determined the cost and did you include a lavish budget for purchasing lovely handmade treasures on your many stops? How about taking a tour of the type of ship you plan to embark on, taking numerous photos as you explore. Perhaps even video tape your tour, and narrate the recording with positive affirmations of what your trip aboard will be like, as if you are already on it.

Are you getting the idea? Whatever your next endeavor is, thoroughly investigate it, so your visualizations have some solid direction. Take practical steps towards your dream, and continue to plan it as it were going to occur very quickly. Your vision will be manifested that much sooner if you are positively involved in the creating of your own reality.

Dr. John Gray, an astonishingly positive and energetic man, in a lecture based on his most deeply spiritual book to date, `Getting What You Want and Wanting What You Have’, explains it isn’t enough for him to sit in a room and believe he can write a book! He must actually, after visualizing the book, sit down and allow his creative spirit to take over. If Gray never approached a keyboard, or even pen and paper, it is highly doubtful he would be the prolific, best selling author he is today, and millions of people would not be privy to his marvelous insights.

Whatever your dream, there are practical steps to achieving it you can begin to explore today. The Law of Attraction holds all the power of the universe to take your magnificent obsession and manifest it in your life. Your future is going to be delightful, you better be prepared!

`There is nothing with which every man is so afraid as getting to know how enormously much he is capable of doing and becoming.’

This quote, from Soren Kierkegaard, the deeply spiritual thinker and writer of the 1800s, demands our attention, and an answer. Are we truly interested in changing our lives, do we really want to know what could be accomplished by a person directly plugged into universal power?

Jesus asked a similar question at the healing pools in Bethesda, in Jerusalem, of a man who had been ill for 38 years. `Do you want to be well?‘, to which the man explained he had no one to help him. `Get up and walk.’ said Jesus, and the man was healed. Jesus didn’t ask the man if he was tired of being frail, ill, unable to provide for himself.

He asked if the man wanted to be well!!!! Do you see the vital, life changing difference here? Do you realize that a thought, once conceived, becomes a real and living thing? Stop saying you are tired of being sick, poor, lonely, and start saying what you want to be!! Notice also, the sick man had to admit he desired healing, he had to act on the command to get up and walk, and he had to believe he had been healed.

How long have you been ill, lame, blind or poor in spirit? Do you want to be well? Do you believe the Power that fuels the universe can provide you with the ability to get up and do that which you were created to do? Will you acknowledge that no great thing is ever accomplished by simply wishing it were so? You must go to that place which is most likely to aid in your future vision. You must admit you need help, and then when help presents itself, you must act on that which is yours to claim, be it physical health, emotional healing, a joy filled life of service to others, or financial freedom from worry.

Of course, many of these can happily coincide in the life well powered, there is no need to choose only one life goal, as long as all of your aspirations are of a positive nature the Law of Attraction is available to light your path each step of the way.

The Law of Attraction can change your life, however you must believe the Power exists, and be willing to plug into it. Don’t wait another day for something wonderful to actualize in your life, visualize the joy that is your future, and live your expectantly according to it. Don’t spend another moment with your inmost desires left unattended in the darkest corner of your heart. Allow the Power that holds all the universe’s brightest attributes to provide dazzling light for all to witness and admire.

“The more you see yourself as what you’d like to become, and act as if what you want is already there, the more you’ll activate those dormant forces that will collaborate to transform your dream into your reality.”

Dr. Dyer cites the `Teachings of Abraham’ as being very influential in his own enlightenment. Written by Esther and Jerry Hicks, the book `Ask and it is Given, Learning to Manifest you Desires’, is a study into those teachings, as revealed to Esther. There is nothing new, nor particularly difficult in these potentially life changing teachings. All that is lacking for these Truths to become apparent in your personal journey is your own desire and intention.

Studying this book, along with others such as `The Secret’, will not only cause you to accept the truth of the Law of Attraction, but, if allowed to, will transform your `When I’ and `What ifs’ to `Thank you that I am’.

As you read and absorb the truth of the Law of Attraction, you will quite naturally arrive at a place of enlightenment of your own. A place where you are safe to believe, safe to receive and safe to conceive your glorious future.

The God of the Universe waits to answer your prayer for power and knowledge. `You have not because you ask not’ is a universal truth. The truth that no power exists apart from True Power is the common denominator in all the teachings of the ancients.

Ernest Holmes, founder of the Religious Science movement as we know it, in this moving and deeply spiritual poem, shares his vision of True Power:

“I have the power to live the life of good.

My power is from On High, it cannot be taken from me;

It will not leave me desolate.

Power flows through me and is in me, and I can now feel and sense it.

The Power to live is in me and it cannot desert me.

It is my power and it is continually present.

I am the power to live.”
